Len this year has made more of an impact in his first term than I've seen a lot of officers do for a long time. The officers you see the least are usually the ones trapped in University meetings fighting the battles for students.

Actually holding University Staff accountable is a difficult task and he's not afraid to do so, someone like that is who is also self-accountable is what we need at the front leading Staffs, someone as President who is not only able to help new incoming officers be as ruthless, but someone who is also able to help our current students run their own campaigns and really drive forward the change they are passionate about. 

I have faith in him to complete what he sets out to do and look forward to hearing about the accomplishments that him and our students achieve together in bettering Staffs.

Len would make an incredible SU Officer for 2023/24. Seeing how Len has worked within his role this year has been amazing, he strives to be inclusivity and is genuinely such a considerate person. Any time that I have had a problem at university this year I have been able to talk to Len or arrange a meeting where they always show interest in what I have to say, extremely professional, and do what they can to help. I think that if Len was elected this year, he would continue to do amazing things for the union and for the student body. He will represent students with compassion and would work incredibly hard to support anyone who came to him.

Len always shows his passion in making improvements to the University all day every day. He is a hard-working, friendly individual who takes pride in supporting students and makes sure everyone’s opinions are listened to. I’ve had numerous laughs with Len as well as him offering me advice and making the time to have a catch-up. Len has had a fantastic year as a Union officer and I’m absolutely sure he can do it all again! I wish you all the best of luck Len!

I first met Len in 2021 when I started at Staffordshire University and ever since he has been a great friend. Len is always there to offer support and guidance to anyone and everyone! He is hardworking and determined to make Staffs a better place for students. He can put a smile on your face even if you're having a bad day! Len Stuart in my opinion over his time as vice president has always put what matters to the Union and the Students first and always works in the interest of us. He is a friendly and welcoming person who has always been up for a chat and very visible as a leader. I personally think Len helps represent everyone and is there for everybody and will always be there to listen. I personally feel like Staffordshire University will be in good hands if Len is re-elected and I know that he can be a positive change for the Union. 

Over the short time I’ve known Len, he has been one of the most welcoming and warm people I have ever met. He’s always been willing to help and give his own time up for others, he has become an extended member of the lacrosse family and all of us hold him with high praise.

Len is an amazing person and I would be more than happy to support him in the leadership race. He has already made some amazing changes to the students union as well as supporting so many students and societies. I know personally that since I've known Len he has always supported me when I've needed it, this is from supporting me with university issues and when I've needed a friend to talk to. I cannot wait to see what else Len will achieve for new and current students.

From the first time I met Len in a shared module I knew he was someone I could trust in and speak to if I ever needed anything. Len has given my plenty of advice and a hug if ever needed. Giving my advice and help towards my final year event and always offering a helping hand! I don’t think it even needs to be thought about when you’re voting for Len, you’ll always have my vote #LeadWithLen!

Len is a vet when it cones to student's union and is a well known face on campus. I have been friends with Len since my second year and is someone I have spoken to when it comes to the safety of student on campus concerning its nightlife. His campaign to tighten security for safety including the Spike test kits These are a few of the schemes that I'm sure the student body will take positively and the hopes to have a safer university experience.

I met Len in 2021 and he has done nothing but impress me through the strength of his character and his convictions. Len is constantly supporting both Student Union venues (always a friendly face), and sports teams. He is such a visible presence for the students union and has done so much for Staffordshire University students this year. My personal favourite of which was standing up for LGBTQ+ students by being part of a peaceful protest at a local pride event. This university, union and students need Len to continue improving all students’ lives during a tumultuous time. Vote Len!

Len and I have worked together quite a bit this year - from my role as department rep with him as JSS’s officer and being part of trustee board, Len’s always someone who’s viewpoint and opinion has meant a lot. He’s been a great person to work alongside, even when we’ve disagreed or had different approaches, he’s always respectful and tried to understand my view, even when I’ve been wrong. He’s passionate about helping and supporting students and has really shown that not just with the campaigns he’s worked (like the rainbow laces campaign, making campus more inclusive and his work with lecture capture and consent awareness) but his actions outside of office hours.

I am writing this letter to extend my support and endorsement to Mr Len Stuart’s campaign for student body president.

I’ve only know Len for a about 8 months now yet during those months, len has truly shown what an amazing and charismatic man he is but also what an valuable friend he is. In the many a times that our paths have crossed, whether that being in and around staffs campus or at an planed staffs event he can always be seen bonding with fellow students. Len has dedicated time and effect into trying to creating a better staff’s experiences for all.  

I can confidently say that Len Stuart will have many a great ideas that will further push staffs and make it a more enjoyable place for students.

I met Len in my third year at Staffs before he had his first year as a student union officer and I don't think anyone could've convinced me that they deserved it more quicker than he did. He's been a consistently friendly face around campus and someone I've never been nervous to talk to. He is known across the board for his active involvement and support of student groups from the LGBTQ+ community to the sports societies. His experience in representing the student body makes him an obvious choice for this year. If you want someone to make your voice heard, Len is the person for you.

Hi I’m Johnathan and I’m a second year sports journalism student. I am backing Len for President of the Students Union. I have know Len for a couple of years now and I believe Len is the best person for the job. He cares about this university and it’s students and if anyone is to make an actual changes around campus then Len will. He has been an NUS delegate for the past four years and if that is not a sign that Len has good intentions I don’t know what is. Vote Len for President of the SU you won’t regret it.

I haven’t known Len for a long time, yet long enough to speak confidently and positively about his character. He’s nothing but approachable and will chat about literally anything, he takes his role seriously but knows how to relax and have a good time. He’s reliable and the kind of guy I’d like to have my back if I were here another year.

Len should be your number one vote for officer this year not because of him having a year experience but because of how I felt he did in that year making his voice heard at events both in and out side of this university as well as being someone to go to for support both in both my personal  and professional life whiles being at the university

Len has been a remarkable member of the union over the course of last year making many active involvements to changes as well as always being open to talk to whether you're needing support or just want to chat, always putting everyone's interests first. As such I believe Len would be a valuable member for the student union this year

Hi I’m Jack and I’ve been at staffs for almost a year now, I met len at the start of the year in karaoke, I think Len would be great for president due to the fact that whenever I’ve needed advice with stuff I’ve struggled with, he’s been able to guide me to the appropriate resources to help me out. He never fails to care for students in need of something and never struggles to check up on anyone and how they’re doing.

I'm voting for Len because I know for a fact he can definitely bring about change at the university, Also he is kind and a great advice giver!

Meeting Len for the first time when drunk is one of the best things that happened. He immediately made sure I was ok and made sure I got home ok. I have continued to see this same aprroachable, caring attitude towards everyone that he meets looking after them should they need it. Whenever talking to Len I can tell he is committed to trying to improve conditions in and around the university this is why he will be a great president to lead us into 23/24.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Len for the last 2 years. Even before Len was given the opportunity to become the student union vice president, he would always be around to give advice and guidance to anyone that may need it. Len works hard day in and day out to make sure that everybody at this university has a fair chance and is able to feel welcome and a real member of the Staffordshire university community. Len is also massively involved in sports, coming to a lot of socials, always making sure everyone is having a good time and integrating with everyone there. He has been a voice for change around the university bringing students to the forefront of university life and making the changes that you want. So vote Len for change and a more unified University community

I’ve known Len for too many years now and I can honestly say he’s one of the kindest and friendliest people I know. He’s always there for me and I know I can have silly conversations with him but also have serious ones as well. I know that if I message him about something, he will do everything he can to help me, he’s the best person to have looking out for you, I’ll always back Len and that’s why I’m voting Len for president.

Len has supported students at Staffordshire University almost a year now and he’s been brilliant and communicating and bringing ideas to the campus and within student union. He has followed most of his commitments from his manifesto. I think that if he’s re-elected, he’ll be able to achieve more this year round for all students on this campus and even in London Campus. #BackLen

I first met Len in my second year at staffs, over the past 2 years I’ve been able to get to know him for the amazing person that he is, and watch him grow throughout his role this year as union vice president. I believe Len would make an brilliant union president as he has loads of fresh ideas and an unmatched personality that students have responded extremely well to over his time at staffs and I know he would continue to surpass expectations as president. Len's manifesto is everything we need for breaking down barriers and creating a solid rock all students can stand on, no matter what background you are from. 

His planned work on diversity and decolonising of the education system is going to be second to none in many ways most of all knowing Len and his firm attitude to work ethics IT WILL GET DONE.  

Len will unit and build student support networks for everyone and also progress further all the good work he has already established as an elected official in the last year.

Len is a very familiar face to see around the university. Every time I've seen Len on campus he's had a smile on his face and been happy to talk. If there was someone I would want be representing Staffs Uni it would be him.

Len would make a great president next year. He has the experience and is extremely hard working. In the time I've known him he's always been friendly to everyone, always open to ideas, and willing to help anyone. I have personally seen him keep a cool head in situations where nobody else did Only someone as dedicated, kind, and levelheaded is a great choice for student leadership.

I’ve known Len for a couple of years now and he is genuinely one of the most honest people I know, he is passionate, caring and will always be there for people when they need it. He has proven to be a great officer this year and I am excited to see what his plans for next year are. He has my full support and I would love for him to be elected as officer again!

There are not enough words to detail my admiration for Len. Often when I see him around campus or out on the town he’s a warm sight, a hearth to relax at. A kind, funny gentleman, there is no one I would rather see in his shoes. He makes me feel represented and spoken for, and that is a feeling I could never repay if I tried. The only thing left to say is thank you, Len, and here’s to another year of your brilliance.

Len has been a champion for everyone at the uni, no matter their background. He has supported me and people around me on numerous occasions and I have seen him strive in his first year as a union officer. I can’t think of anyone more deserving then Len to represent us all for another year and he has my full support in the upcoming elections

I have known Len for a little less than 2 years now and in all this time I’ve really come to appreciate him not only in the good times but I know I can always go to when there is an issue. I‘ve always known Len to be friendly to everyone and insanely reliable which makes him a candidate for all. He’s worked hard this year making sure he’ll realize his manifesto and I know he is especially proud of introducing the Consent Module which allows students all over university to be educated about how important consent is nowadays and to be honest, always has been. If there is one thing that I appreciate about Len the most it is that when he says he will do something, he will do it! I have no doubt in my mind that Len will be in the right place as our Student Union President and I can’t wait to see all the things he will do.

I’ve known Len since my second year at uni and is one of the most selfless people I know, who is always there whenever you need him. Someone you can trust and rely on. He listens to what we have to say and fights for us. I can confidently say that there is no one more passionate, hardworking, and successful in making change for students. He has clearly shown this during his time as vice president this year. If you want a president who cares, is a great leader, and has experience Len truly deserves your vote. Vote for Len!
